Banfi Rosa Regale

This Banfi Regale is an original and daring sparkling red wine that works excellently as an after-dinner treat. It rolls off  your tongue and is both smooth and flavorful, with hints of red fruits like raspberries or even cranberries. With such a fruitful nose, this is definitely a wine that’s best enjoyed in the summer months after a lighter meal, when you’re sitting in the sun. It was one of the most popular wines of the year, and is excellent considering the price that it’s available at. With a great deal of interest being shown in the wine, which is relatively young, you’ll probably see prices rising over the next few years. This is primarily because they flavors are so balanced that they will continue to grow, rather than making the wine lopsided. Often when sparkling wines age they lost some of the maturity they once had and this can mean that certain flavors overpower others. Fortunately, the Banfi Regale looks like it’s going to age extremely gracefully, rather than falling by the wayside like so many of its competitors. When this wine was announced, there was already plenty of anticipation, and it delivered on everything that people had been waiting for.
