Deviation – Aromatized Quady Winery, California Wine Review
Deviation – Aromatized Quady Winery, Calif.
A fairly unknown wine until very recently, some wine critics have claimed that this is one of the best wines of 2009. That
being said, sales haven’t really hit the kind of levels you would expect, but this could all change in the near future. This dessert wine might be strangely named, but it’s been brilliantly crafted to give you a great nose and light flavoring. This will even be perfect for white meats, pasta, fish, and of course a great dessert. It’s something that will almost slip down your throat, it’s just that smooth, and it is deceptively fruity. Give this time to breathe because the subtle tropical flavors will really come out; there are hints of mango and citrus fruits that will blow your mind. It’s a good idea to make sure you really spend some time trying to understand this wine, because it’s not immediately obvious. If you attack this with some heavily flavored food then you’re just never going to be able to appreciate it. Try it first and see what you think, and after that make a decision how you want to enjoy it best. After all, if you’re going to spend some money on a unique and intriguing wine then you’re going to want to spend some time enjoying it!
